Recently, the team led by Academician Liu Changsheng and Associate Professor Yu Yuanman from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of our university has published a paper in Science Advances, titled Inflamed vessel-anchored release of H₂ across the blood-brain barrier for ischemic stroke neuroprotection. This study constructs a selective vessel-anchored hydrogen molecule (H₂) release platform, which can provide exceptional neuroprotection for ischemic stroke without the need for nanoparticles to penetrate the blood-brain barrier. The paper has been selected as a Featured Article of the issue.
