主要经历与简历:                          
国家杰出青年基金获得者(1998),博士生导师,入选国家教育部“第一、二层次人才工程”和人事部“百千万人才工程”。曾先后在澳大利亚Monash大学、日本东京大学、美国劳伦斯Livermore国家实验室攻读博士学位或从事科研工作十多年。

·           1980/9--1984/8,中南大学(原中南矿冶学院),大学本科,获学士学位;
·           1984/9--1985/8,上海外国语学院,教育部出国留学生英语培训;
·           1985/9--1986/12,中南大学硕士生(选修课程,联系出国留学);
·           1987/01--1991/12,澳大利亚Monash大学, 硕士和博士研究生,获得博士学位

·           1992/01--1992/12,澳大利亚联邦科学和工业研究机构(CSIRO),博士后;           
·           1993/01--1993/12,东京大学日本学术振兴会Research fellow;
·           1994/01--1997/6,美国劳伦斯Livermore国家实验室,Research fellow;
·           1997/07--1999/03,中南大学,教授,博士生导师;
·           1999/04—2008/07,上海交通大学,博士生导师;
·           2008/08—2011/5, 同济大学,特聘教授,博士生导师;
2011/6-现在,华东理工大学,教授,博士生导师。

纳米材料(碳纳米管、碳纳米笼、石墨烯等),新能源材料(燃料电池、太阳能电池、锂电池等),金属材料TiAlTiAl)。
